Electrical & Electronics Engineering

The Department has started in 2010 with an intake of 120 students for under graduate course. The department is also offering M.Tech program with specialization in Electrical Power Systems from the year 2013 with an intake of 24.

The department has well equipped laboratories in the major areas of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and extends sufficient computing and library facilities. The department has a blend of highly qualified and experienced faculty. With its excellent infrastructure, the department places emphasis on sound practical knowledge by taking the students to industrial tours. The students and faculty participated in National conferences, workshops and published papers in reputed national and international journals.

The department continuously coordinates with the college placement cell to provide open opportunities for the students in every domain of software development and core areas of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. A very good number of the students were placed in various prestigious Multi National Companies such as IBM, Accenture, GGK, Main tech. solutions, Aagna solutions etc., through campus placements.

  • M1:Infrastructure and Curriculum Development: Excellent infrastructure and innovative curriculum to prepare skilled and competent electrical and electronics engineers.
  • M2: Skill Development: Organize workshops, seminars, and hands-on training sessions to equip students with the required skills and knowledge. Also emphasize the development of soft skills like communication, leadership, teamwork and ethics.

After completion of their programme students will be able:

  • PO1: Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
  • PO2: Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
  • PO3: Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
