A Memorandum of Understanding sets out opportunities for collaboration and results in increased academic activities with industries and corporate companies. This results in a broad exposure of opportunities for both faculty and students.

To fulfill the objective of mutual knowledge transfer, as a part of MoU, the following activities are carried out:

TATA Consultancy Services Limited, Mumbai:

AITS Kadapa acts as local infrastructure service provider for online examinations conducted by TATA Consultancy Services Limited, Mumbai. Online exams like EAPCET, ICET, RRB, IBPS, SSC, JEE, GATE, A.P Government departmental tests etc. will be conducted regularly in the campus of AITS Kadapa.

Triovision Composite Technologies Private Limited, Kadapa (TCT Kadapa):

Palem Lalitha Kumari and Kadem Manisha, passed out students belonging to Civil Engineering department of AITS Kadapa have been selected for the role of ‘Quality Inspector’ as a part of MoU between AITS Kadapa and TCT Kadapa under the activity of placements.

Shiridi Sai Electricals Limited, Kadapa (SSE Kadapa):

Students of 2019-22 batch Electrical and Electronics engineering department of AITS Kadapa visited the manufacturing unit on 02-12-2021 under the activity of industrial visits as a part of MoU between AITS Kadapa and SSE Kadapa. By visit to the production unit, practical awareness on constructional details and working of distribution and power transformers was enhanced.

Hyderabad Institute of Electrical Engineers (HIEE) Hyderabad:

A webinar was organized by HIEE A webinar on the topic, “A virtual site visit on Roof top solar power plant” was conducted by Hyderabad Institute of Electrical Engineers (HIEE) Hyderabad for electrical engineers on 26th December 2021 at 11 AM. Staff and students of the department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) participated in the webinar. This online programme was inaugurated by Sri K. Madan Mohan Goud, Founder and C.E.O of HIEE, Hyderabad, Telangana. Resource person was Mr. Santhosh Gupta, Power systems consultant. The motto of this webinar is to bridge the gap between industry and academia. Information about equipment selection and sizing criteria of solar PV plant was given. Current trends and challenges to be faced by future generation for replacement of conventional sources by renewable energy sources like solar energy are explained.
