ELECTRICAL MACHINES ONLINE QUIZ

The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering of ‘Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Sciences:: Kadapa, had conducted a series of National level Online e-quiz based on Electrical Machines from 14/08/2020 to 15/08/2020. Patron of the Quiz was the Principal Dr. A. Sudhakara Reddy. E- Certificates were provided to all the participants of the Quiz. It was open to all the interested students as well as the faculty. The eligibility for the pass percentage of quiz was 50%. Each day 100 certificates were issued for eligible candidates. Registrations were free.

This quiz was conducted to highlight the role of electrical machines in electrical engineering. Questions covered were about electromagnetic forces, D.C motors, D.C generators, transformers, induction motors, synchronous generators and synchronous motors. As developing more efficient electric machine technology is crucial for an electrical engineer, focus was laid on electrical machines including electromechanical energy conversion in this online quiz.
