Engineers Day

The Department of Civil Engineering at Annamacharya Institute of Technology & Sciences (AITS), Kadapa, organized the 58th Engineers Day Celebrations on 15th September 2025 at 2:00 PM in the college auditorium. The event was graced by distinguished guests and esteemed members of the department.

Chief Guest:

Sri K. Yedukondalu, Superintending Engineer, RWS, Kadapa, was invited as the Chief Guest for the celebrations. His valuable insights and inspiring words motivated the audience, especially the budding engineers.

Guest of Honor:

Sri S.C.E. Maddanna, Superintending Engineer, Panchayat Raj, Kadapa, was present as the Guest of Honor. He shared his experiences and encouraged students to pursue excellence in the civil engineering field.

All our guests for the program were felicitated by Our Honorable Secretary Dr. C. Gangi Reddy Garu, Our Vice Chairman Sri. C. Yella Reddy Garu, Our Principal Dr. A. Sudhakara Reddy Garu, and Our Head of the Department Dr. P. Sri Chandana. Our chief guest delivered an excellent speech for the younger generation of Engineers. They pointed out the importance of honesty, Confidence, efforts and leadership skills for the emerging civil engineers to raise their carrier.

The program was attended by many students from first year to final year and the enthusiasm of Students was overwhelming. The celebration highlighted the importance of engineering in nation-building and inspired students to embrace innovation, knowledge sharing, and teamwork.
