B.Tech-ORIENTATION DAY 2024

Annamacharya Institute of Technology & Sciences (Autonomous), KADAPA organized an orientation programme for the newly admitted B.Tech students at the institute premises on 25th july 2024. The major objective of the programme was to make the parents and students aware of the academic aspects of the course, the rules and regulations of the Institute and ensuring parental participation in monitoring the performance and progress of the students.

The programme was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp by the Dr. C. Gangireddy garu, founder of Annamacharya Eucational Trust and Dr. A. Sudhakara Reddy, principal, AITS (Autonomous), Kadapa and other dignitaries.

Dr. A. Sudhakara Reddy, principal, while delivering a speech on the occasion, said that it was not the events but the attitude that caused success. One third of what constitutes a person is his genetic inheritance; another one third comes from the kind of upbringing he /she receives and the remaining one third from one’s own self. He also stressed the importance of dedication to one’s profession and the need to have proper planning before taking up and implementing any work.

Dr. K.N. Shashikumar, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Humanities & Sciences gave necessary information about the academic design of the first year B.Tech Course and the University and Institute rules and regulations regarding academic matters.

Mr.S. Md. Hakeem, Assistant Professor,welcomed the gathering. The programme was presided over by Shri. Choppa Gangi Reddy garu, chairman, AITS. A vote of thanks was proposed by Smt. K. Chandrakala, Assistant Professor, and Department of Civil Engineering.
