Scouts and Guides is a very useful and important activity. Baden Powell developed scouting as a game, a fun with a purpose, under the leadership of Scouts (boys ) and Guides (girls). Scouting is a self-education plan. It is a plan to inculcate good traits among the budding youth. It strengthens the youth's character, consciousness, physical fitness and develops leadership qualities. It is actually a system of self-education outside the four walls of the class-room and moral movement which is popular among the students. So, the most important object in the Scouts and Guides training is to educate, to draw out the children to learn their own desire and to work for the things that tend to build up their character. It is an approved educational character-training, which instills a sense of responsibility and trust-worthiness and promotes self-reliance, self-direction, self -control and self-commitment. Keeping the same objective in mind, we are training our students for the same.
