Republic Day in India is celebrated every year on the 26th of January. This day is regarded as an important public holiday all over the country. It was on this day that the Constitution of India came into being, replacing the Government of India Act 1935 and making India a Republic Nation. So to commemorate this day every year, Republic Day is celebrated all over India.
AITS, Kadapa commemorated the 77th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor.
The theme of the The 77th Republic Day tableaux centred around two main themes : “Svatantrata Ka Mantra – Vande Mataram” and “Samriddhi Ka Mantra – Aatmanirbhar Bharat
Swatantrata ka Mantra : Vande Mataram : Celebrating 150 years of the national song Vande Mataram (composed by Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay in 1875).
Samriddhi ka Mantra : Aatmanirbhar Bharat : Highlighting India’s journey toward self-reliance and economic prosperity.
Dr. A.Sudhakar Reddy, Principal, Aits Kadapa, along with all HODs, faculty members, staff, and students, gathered to celebrate the national festival of India. Sri C. Yella Reddy, Co-charman of AITS Trust graced the occasion. He spoke on the importance of the Republic Day. Dr. A.Sudhakar Reddy, Principal delivered a message on the significance of the occasion. Later the prize distribution was done for the winners of Essay writing competition, Elocution, Debate and Painting. A patriotic song, performed by the scouts and guides of the college was highlight of the programme. The programme ended with distribution of sweets to all.
