A REPORT ON NATIONAL ROAD SAFETY AWARENESS PROGRAMME

NSS Unit of AITS (Autonomous), Kadapa is organised a road safety awareness programme on 30-01-2024 at college premisses. Higher Officials, Sri. P. Meera Prasad, Deputy Transport Officer and Dr A Sudhakara Reddy, Principal, AITS, Kadapa, delivered a few instructions about Road Safety to different Schools and colleges students and bus drivers. They insisted to follow the traffic rules strictly. They advised them about wearing helmet for two wheelers and seat belts for four wheelers. They encourage the engineering students should come forward and design new projects to decrease traffic problems and accidents. Dr T Sankar Reddy, NSS Program Officer, Dr K.N. Sashi Kumar, HOD of Humanities and Sciences and Mr. A Rajesh, Physical director, NSS Volunteers and other faculties also participated in the programme. At the end of the session principal Dr A Sudhaka Reddy felicitated the higher officials.
