A REPORT ON ENGINEER’S DAY

On the occasion of Birth Anniversary of India’s most prominent engineer Sir. Mokshagundam Vishweshvaraya, we celebrate Engineers Day on 15 th -September of every year in the remembrance of his remarkable works in engineering field. AITS, Kadapa, Civil Engineering Department celebrates this occasion every year with full of enthusiasm. The theme of this Day was “Engineering for Sustainable Future.” We were fortunate to have our chief guest as Er. B. Prabhakar Naidu, Executive Engineer, R&B Department Kadapa. We were also grateful to have our Guest of Honor S. Penchalaiah Assistant Executive Engineer, APTDC Kadapa. All our guests for the program were felicitated by Honorable Secretary Dr. C. Gangi Reddy Garu, Vice Chairman Sri. C. Yella Reddy Garu, Principal Dr. A. Sudhakara Reddy Garu, and Head of Civil Department Dr. P. Sri Chandana. Our chief guest delivered an excellent speech for the younger generation of Engineers. They pointed out the importance of honesty, confidence, efforts and leadership skills for the emerging civil engineers to raise their carrier.

The program was attended by many students from first year to final year and the enthusiasm of students was overwhelming.
