A REPORT ON INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY CELEBRATIONS

Annamacharya Institute of Technology & Sciences, Kadapa, is organized an Event on “International Women’s Day” under Women Development Cell for the both women staff and girl students on 07-03-2023 from 1.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m in AITS, Kadapa, college Auditorium. The event inaugurated by chief guests Dr.V. Sunitha, Professor, Yogi Vemana Universiy, Kadapa, Dr.R.Himabindu Madhavi, MBBS, DNB, OBG., Himabindu Materniy Hospital, Nagarajupet, Kadapa. The Event was Initiated by the Women Development Cell coordinators Dr. G Sarika, Assistant professor from the department of Humanities & Sciences. and Mrs. SZ. PARVEEN Assistant professor from the department of Computer science and engineering.

Dr. A. SUDHAKARA REDDY, principal, AITS, Kadapa has taken a part in the event and delivered their valuable speech about the importance of women’s day.

Dr. P. SRICHANDANA, Professor, Department of civil engineering, AITS, Kadapa, delivered a speech about theme of women day 2023 “EMBRACE EQUITY” and she highlights the importance of recognizing and addressing the unique challenges and experiences of women.

Event chief guest Dr.V. SUNITHA delivered their valuable speech about importance of International Womens Day. Also, she said some useful and healthy tips to girl students and women staff & she said about great personalities of women in various fields and their achievements.

Event guest of honour Dr. R. HIMABINDU MADHAVI spoke about the high stress levels of women due to their dual role as care-taker and career managers and they highlighted the need for healthy food habits and importance of physical exercises to overcome stress by women.

The event was Accommodated by a big count (550 members) of both girl students and women faculties to make as grand success.
