WORLD AIDS DAY

World AIDS Day is celebrated on December 1 every year since 1988. The objective of the programme is to create awareness among the people about the symptoms, causes and preventives of HIV/AIDS that has taken unprecedented number of lives. Each World AIDS Day focuses on a specific theme, which this year will be Equalize. In this connection, Govt. Of A.P Health, Medical & Family Welfare Department planned to organize a rally and an awareness meeting. In this connection, NSS Program Officer explained to the students to aware on HIV/AIDS issues. As per the instructions, they were conducted a district level Quiz competition on 21st November 2022(Monday). In this quiz, our college B.Tech IV year student B. Sahithi won first prize and participated at state level. Also, Teaching and Non-teaching staff and NSS volunteers participated in awareness rally that coved the areas Municipal corporation, Mahaveer circle and New collectorate, Kadapa and rise the slogans to create awareness among the public. In this Event total 50 Students and 10 Faculty members are participated along with NSS Coordinators.
